2000 Melaleuca Grove Yea Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Rich red purple colour. Brambly red berry fruit apparent on the nose. Generous fruit on the palate, softened by Merlot and accentuated by he spiciness of Shiraz. Elegant Cabernet structure and length. Our most awwarded wine it won bronze medals in consecutive years at the Ballarat Wine Show.

2002 Melaleuca Grove Cabernet Merlot

Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) from 25 year old vines grown in the heart of Australia’s renowned Yarra Valley. Merlot (40%) was from Glenburn in the Yea Valley.
Rich purple in colour this wine demonstrates lifted berry and plum flavours with a slight mintiness. The palate is soft and supple, with gentle tannin structure, good acid and subtle oak. Aged 24 months in a blend of old and new French oak.

2003 Melaleuca Grove Yea Valley Merlot

A lovely rich Merlot from Glenburn in the Yea Valley. Dark plums on the nose following through on the palate with suggestions of mocha and chocolate. A pleasing balance of soft supple tannin and rich fruit gives good persistence and length. Aged for 18 months in French oak.
